帯締め
帯をおさえて、ほどけないようにする紐。
長さ 並尺 約150㎝ 長尺 約180㎝
留袖用が白または金銀。
あとは本人のコーディネートになります。訪問着や振袖などの礼装用には、金銀が織り込まれているものや、平織なら、幅の広いほうを使いましょうといわれていますが、おしゃれと礼装用の区切りがハッキリしているわけではないです。
組み方
形は丸ぐけ、丸組、角組、平組などがあります。
丸ぐけ 真綿芯を入れて生地でくるんで仕立てた帯締め。私的には、花嫁さんとか七五三のイメージですが、華やかな振袖からおしゃれ着までなんにでも使用できます。
丸組、角組、平組は断面が丸いか、四角か平らかの差です。
幅
幅は、二分紐、三分紐、四分紐、五分紐などがあります。 一分＝３.8㎜
三分紐
普段着物、おしゃれ着物には、とても使いやすい帯締めです。帯留を通して使用することもできます。細い見た目が重くないので、夏でも使用できます。
房の種類
紐先を房といいます。房は切り房、撚り房などがあります。
切り房
糸を切りっぱなしにしています。しなやかなのですが、ほっとくとぼさぼさになります。房カバーなどでカバーすると良いでしょう。絹の場合はたっぷりの湯気をあてると綺麗になります。
撚り房
糸をねじりあわせてつくる房です。糸の先がループ状になっていてほつれません。
帯締めのつける位置
帯のどの高さに結ぶかで、年齢を表したりもします。若い方は帯の半分より少し高めに帯締めをします。年齢を重ねるにつれて帯半分より少し下の方へと言われています。ですが、好みなどもあると思います。フォーマル着物を着るときに、頭の片隅に思い出してもらうぐらいでいいです。
素材
絹、ポリエステルなどがあります。

お値段は参考程度です。
夏の帯締め
目が荒かったりレースでできていたり、見た目が涼やかな物です。夏用使用目安は６～8月。温度だと、22℃～。 あくまでも目安です。自分の体感や季節感を大切にしてくださいね。
obijime
It is string that holds down the obi so that it won`t come undone.
Length Usually about 150 cm. About 180 cm long
The tomesode(留袖） is either white, silver or gold.
The rest will be coordinated by the person yourself. It is said that gold or should be added to the obijime of formal kimono. Furthermore, in that case, plain weave is said to have a wide width good. However, the distinction between fashionable and formal obijime is not clear.
Way of putting together
The shapes are marukuge(丸くげ）,marukumi （丸組）, hirakumi（平組） , kakugumi （角組）, etc.
marukuge（丸くげ）
An obijime of cloth with silk in it. I have an image that brides and others use. However, we can also use it in gorgeous furisode(振袖）and kimono in fashionable.
They have different cross-sections.
marukumi— round hirakumi— flat kakugumi— square
Breadth
There are nibuhimo, sanbuhimo, yonbuhimo, gobuhino, etc. itibu = about 3.8 mm
sanbuhimo(三分紐）
It is an obijime suitable for everyday and fashionable kimonos. you can also put a obidome(帯留め）in it. It is narrow and light , so you can use it even in summer.
type of tuft
fusa(房）ーーend of a obijime.
kirifusa(切り房）
It just cut the thread. It is flexible and beautiful. If you leave it alone, it is unkempt. After use, let`s use a obijime cover to protect it. Also, if it is silk, it is clean with plenty of steam.
yorifusa(撚り房）
It is made by twisting threads together. The tip of the thread is loopy, so it won`t fray.
The height of an obijime
It is said that the position of the obijime indicates age. If you are young, make it higher than half of the obi, As you got older , it make a little lower than half of the obi. Just remember when you wear formal kimono. But it is not absolutely.

The materials are silk, polyester, etc.

summer obijime
Some of them are roughly woven or made of lace, etc. It is looks cool and perfect for summer.
The period of use of the summer obijime is about June to August. And the temperature width is 22℃ ~. It is just a guide. Please cherih your bodily sensation your sense the season and enjoy the obijime.
結び方 How to tie
後ろで帯をおさえます。
Hold the back of the obi with an obijime.
前の持ってきて左手の紐を上にします。
Bring it forward and cross it with the left string up.
ひとむすび
Tie it up once.
右手の持ってる紐のを結び目の上におきます。緩まないように一緒に指でおさえます。
Your fingers press the right obijime and knot.
出来上がりがこんな風（例）

なので、左手に持ってる紐はひっくり返します。
So you are going to tie the obijime on the left while turning it is going to be tied.
そして、右に持ってる紐の輪の中へ通します。
ゆるみなく通してしまったら、今度は右手で現在右にきた紐とその下にある紐をおさえます。
Hold it down with your fingers and tie it tightly.
次は、左手で房が付いてる左にある紐を引っ張ります。ギューとです。
2本の紐が重なるように房の近くまでします。
Stack the two obijimes beautifully.
房の手前でクイと下の紐に房のある方の紐を押し込んで、出来上がり
Put the front obijime in the back. In front of fusa(tuft).
左側の紐をひっくり返して結び目をおさえる仕方もあります。
Another way. Turn the left obijime upside down. Then press the left obijime and the knot with your fingers.
どちらも試してしやすいほうでしてくださいね。

帯留
帯留め
三分紐に通して使います。
礼装の留袖には、蒔絵（漆で絵や文様などを書いて乾燥前に金銀などの粉を蒔いてできたもの）、象嵌（一つの物に異質の物を嵌め込む技法）の物、サンゴ、五大宝石（ダイヤモンド、エメラルド、サファイア、ルビー、パール）などはできるといわれています。
お茶席は使用しないのが慣例だそうです。(流派などで違うこともあります。確認してみてください。）
その他は自由にＯＫです。上にあげた帯留も留袖にしか使えないということもないので、自由にコーディネートしてくださいね。
私の着付けの先生は海のガラス玉を手芸で帯留めにしていました。夏は涼しげで素敵です。季節の花や行事の物（ハロウィンのカボチャ、クリスマスのツリーなど）、好きな動物などいろいろ楽しめます。
obidome
It is used through a sanbuhimo(三分紐）.
It is said that you can use Maki-e, Inlay, coral and five major jewelry for formal tomesode(留袖）.
They do not use obijime at tea ceremony.( If you to use it, please check it out.)
Other than that, you can use it freely.
Maki-e , etc are not limited to tomesode(留袖）.Please feel free to coordinate.
For example, you can make it by hand with glass balls. You can also collect your favorite animals and enjoy them. I will attach some thing suitable for seasonal events ( Halloween, Christmas, etc). There are many ways to enjoy it.
使い方 How to use
三分紐に通します。三分紐の結び方は帯締の結び方でも、方結びでも大丈夫です。後ろの帯の中に結び目はまわして持っていってください。
It is used though a sanbuhimo(三分紐）. The way to tie it is bowknot or how to tie obijime, etc. Turn the knot around and hide it in the otaiko(お太鼓）.
